Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GitNotifier (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Description of Service

GitNotifier delivers pull request and code review notifications to your Slack workspace. The service includes:

• Integration with GitHub repositories and pull requests
• Notification delivery to your Slack workspace
• Customizable notification preferences
• Web-based dashboard for administring the service

User Accounts and Responsibilities

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities under your account
• Having proper authorization to connect the repositories you integrate
• Complying with applicable laws and not using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for spam or mass messaging
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Conduct unauthorized security pentesting, testing or vulnerability scanning

Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described there.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

GitNotifier integrates with GitHub and Slack. By using our Service:

• You are subject to the terms of those third-party platforms
• We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content
• You grant us permission to access and process data from them as necessary to provide the Service
• You represent that you have authority to authorize such access

Subscription and Payment Terms

For paid plans:

• Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• Prices may change with 30 days’ notice
• Refunds are at our discretion
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination

Service Availability and Support

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or circumstances beyond our control. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitNotifier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill) resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” GitNotifier disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. All provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability limits and governing law) shall survive.

When you uninstall the GitNotifier GitHub app from GitHub, we receive that event and delete all data we hold for that integration. When you remove the app from your Slack workspace, we clean up all related data on our side.

Changes to Terms

We may modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced with at least 30 days’ notice before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after revisions, you agree to the revised terms.
